Description
There are many unidentified wrecks in the Halifax Harbour. This one is located in the Halifax Harbour Narrows. It is a small wreck that is easily missed. It resembles a pinnace near the site of the Halifax Explosion. The little wreckage that remains is in 24m of water and may soon be covered by the infilling of the Irving shipyard expansion. This site is best visited by scooter from the Dartmouth side leaving the old French Cable Wharf at 270 degrees. Make sure to follow proper Halifax Harbour diving procedures as outlined by the Nova Scotia Underwater Council.
